What TH EYES is

TH EYES is a map of publicly published live feeds for Thailand: public CCTV, YouTube and TikTok live streams, water and weather data, and public news and posts about flooding. It is not an official warning service. In an emergency, follow official agencies: DDPM hotline 1784, TMD 1182, BMA 1555.

Data we store about you

Without signing in: nothing on our server. Your browser keeps settings (theme, favorites, layer toggles, last-read position in the social feed) in local storage on your device only.
If you sign in with Google: your Google account ID, name, email, profile picture and, if you have one, your YouTube channel ID. They are used to show who you are, attribute streams you add, and grant admin rights. The session is an HttpOnly cookie. We request read-only YouTube access to find your own live streams; we never post on your behalf.
Streams you add: the link, title, location and category you submit, linked to your account.
Usage statistics: anonymous counts of what is used on the site (for example feeds opened and how long the page is actively in use), tied to a random code that changes every day. No cookies are set for this and IP addresses are not stored. If you are signed in, your active time on the site is also recorded against your account.
Feedback you send: the message and, if you choose to add it, the email or LINE ID you give for a reply. It is only read by the site administrator.

We do not sell data, run ads, or use third-party analytics. Sign out at any time; to delete your account and submissions, contact the site administrator.

Third-party content

Embedded players and map tiles load from their providers (YouTube, TikTok, camera operators, map and radar providers), who may set their own cookies under their own policies. Camera images and streams belong to their operators; videos belong to their creators. TH EYES only links to or embeds what they publish publicly and does not record or re-host it.

Data sources & licensing

Water levels, rain, dams, forecasts: ThaiWater / HII (with RID, EGAT, DWR, TMD).
Tropical cyclones: GDACS.
Flood extent: NASA LANCE/GIBS MODIS near-real-time products. Official Thai flood areas: GISTDA.
Rain radar: RainViewer.
Social listening: headlines and links from Google News RSS (including Pantip and LINE TODAY), public Bluesky posts, and YouTube search. Only the title, author/outlet, time and link are shown; every item links back to the original. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads and X are not collected. They are only linked to their own search pages.

Data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Freshness for each source is shown in the ⓘ Sources panel.

Removal requests

If you own a camera, stream or post shown here and want it removed, contact the site administrator and it will be taken down.
